April Odd Jobs
April 26 - The funny thing about this ad is that it sounds like the person who wrote it really thinks this is like the best job ever. Seriously has this person ever actually stood in the hot sun for 8 hours holding a sign and feeling stupid? I think not.
$10 per hour
for holding a sign?!? YES! Work outdoors! Listen to music! Short,
flexible hours!
We need you! We are a new restaurant specializing in healthy,
fast-casual Japanese cuisine. Come help us get the word out!
Must be available 2-4 days per week, during Monday - Friday lunch
hours (10:30-1:30)
Apply in person
Compensation: $10/hour
April 19 - Okay so there are actually people out there with both the money and the inclination to have their garages painted with a theme? Seriously? Plus these people can't spell either.
We
create theme style garages (classic cars, nascar, corvette, sports
themes, garden villa, Italian villas). We need painters and
shelf/cabinet hangers who are neat and methodical self starters and
who want to get the job done. Placement of art when the gargage is
finished is the fun part. Possible management positions. Must have
transportation or reside in the Gaithersburg area. There are NO
benifits offered at this time. $12.00-16.00 per hour with possible
full time employment by the end of summer. This business is just
getting started. We create Theme garages for car guys and lots of
other theme garages.
Compensation:
$12.00-16.00 per hour, Flex time/day part time.
April 12 - I never understood poker myself, but you don't really have to know how to play poker to convince others to play it do you? Really?
April 5 - I knew I was wasting my time in college when what I should have been doing was learning to play role playing type card games. But wait. The title says they want players of the game, but then says the job doesn't require playing the game. Now that's just weird.
Magic the Gathering Players Needed
We are an
Internet based retailer of New and Used Magic: the Gathering
cards. We are seeking part time help 2-3 days per week. Most of the work
will involve sorting and shipping cards.
Familiarity with the cards is required. You will not be playing Magic here
or discussing Magic strategy. If you love organizing your Magic
collection, this is the job for you.
Pay will start at $10/hour. Raises will be based on efficiency and
reliability.
Please respond with a resume or description of your education and job
history, references, plus a discussion of your experience with Magic - how
long have you been playing, how much have you played, how familiar are you
with the cards? Leave a phone number so we may contact you for an
interview.
